I just want to pitch the idea out there that existing high technology options are available and should be seriously considered to achieve suspended animation an ongoing process. I feel skeptical of most cryopreservatives and concerned because the underlying physics that concern cryonics, i.e. phase changes are being ignored. According to the journal, Cryobiology, there were only a dozen studies conducted in the 1960s using hyperbaric cool down/freezing. Since then the only contributor to the journal has suggested isochoric conditions under high pressure admitting that researchers only do research at 1 atm. My opinion of published reports is that many important details are left out. Vacuum packing has been shown to effectively preserve meat for cold storage. I am dismayed by much public reaction that I know is wrong. There is no reason why food at the supermarket should be treated better than humans in reality.
Back to my personal beliefs on longevity, after some reluctance, I have decided I want to share them with a core of others who I have not met yet, who basically agree with me already however they might not have explicitly expressed.
